John Dittmore is a U.S. Navy veteran and retired police officer with a long record of public service. He  spent six years on the West Melbourne City Council and has served as President of the Hammock Lakes Homeowners Association.

John is a life member of VFW Post 4206, an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and the owner of The Dittmore Agency, where he has worked as an insurance agent for five years. He has contributed to local education efforts through the Brevard School Board redistricting and disciplinary committees and previously represented West Melbourne with the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce.
